WELCOME TO CHARGERS

Based in Wimbledon, Chargers Basketball Club provides basketball for boys and girls from School Year 3 through to Year 13, from complete beginners to experienced players across Merton and South West London.

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or aiming to take their game further, we provide an inclusive, supportive environment where young players can learn, develop and enjoy basketball.

 

Based at Harris Academy Wimbledon, near South Wimbledon Tube, we are proud to be affiliated with Basketball England and to be part of the wider Merton community, welcoming players from Wimbledon, Morden, Raynes Park, Colliers Wood and beyond.

Our Sunday Development sessions welcome players of different ages and abilities, including complete beginners.

Build skills and confidence

As players develop, coaches can invite them to join squad training, providing the opportunity to develop their skills and understanding of the game alongside other committed players.

 

🏆 COMPETE

Take your game further

Players can progress into competitive basketball through the Surrey Central Venue League (CVL), with opportunities to reach U18 National League (NBL) basketball.

There is no single route through Chargers. Every player can develop at their own pace.
